Hello again!
Last week, I had a fantastic time singing with The Major Fifths band at The Stoneham, Hove.
If you haven't noticed already, the green "thing" on my cheek...is supposed to be a lucky clover! I'm pretty sure from afar I just looked dirty.
What a wonderful gig it was. There was a wonderful group of women dancing away for a good 3 hours. They certainly gave me a run for my money...who needs the gym!
So after a smashing set of rock/pop/blues/rnb, belting out Titanium a 4th higher than the original (seriously can't believe I had to do that....every note was secretly like "Right, here we go....don't think about it... don't think about it....relax...air....TAAAAAAIIInium..."wow i actually did it"), it couldn't go wrong from there alongside a few Malibus. In fact, the audience on an equal level of intoxication had a lovely dance with me in the pit at the end (I do wonder where the crowd is in this photo. I had to stop plenty of people trying to eat my microphone)
Soon, we should be playing Molly Malones, Brighton. We have a good crowd coming along from last time. If you like a good covers night with lots of banter, we're probably right up your street.
As long as you don't mind a belted A5
:C:
